Government Contracting Part II: Research

Our Federal Government is the world’s largest consumer. Trillions of dollars every year are spent on products and services. Like any massive organization, the process is cumbersome and layered with requirements. Understanding the barriers to entry can seem steep. Here we will focus on how to navigate the waters of government procurement.

In Part 2 of this 3-part workshop, we will focus on Research. How do you find opportunities, contracts or grants for your organization. We will use someone from our group to show real-time results of a real company. During our workshop, we will discuss the key factors a Contracting Officer will use to present their requirements and the process the follow to post those requirements. We will identify Requests for Information all the way through Requests for Proposals. When should you respond to each and how to quickly filter through opportunities relevant to you.
